The Ethnee are what kind of Gentiles?

What kinds of Gentiles are there? For if we look in the Old Testament there is only one kind. The translators assumed therefore, there could only be one kind in the New Testament. However, coming into the New Testament are two kinds. The reader of the New Testament is provided no clue, of the two types of Gentiles existing and every time he reads the word “gentile” he assumes the definition from the Old Testament, Here is where the mistake was made. In one verse in the New Testament using the word gentile for two different words in the Greek but the reader is to assume that both gentiles are the same. Another mistake the translators made was the use of the gentile for the word Greek or hellnos, two times. In the New Testament, there are five different Greek words translated; as nation, nations, Greeks, and gentiles or gentile.

  1. Ethnee-- the righteous gentiles 54 times in 53 verses

  2. Helleenos-- Greeks 2 times in 2 verses

  3. Hellenoon --Greek 3 times in 3 verses

  4. Ethnoon-- heathen gentiles 47 times in 45 verses

  5. Ethnesin-- heathen gentiles 31 times in 31 verses

The ethnee must have appeared different from the other gentiles or the word has some meaning that is not made clear to the reader, for the learners never ask, What do they look like or how do we tell who they are.

Item number one is the ethnee word that we are examining to explain the House of Israel living as a gentile along side of the house of Judah. Many times treated as heathen gentiles, since they have lost those things that identify them as Hebrews.

So, that you understand where this comes from, we have to return to the Old Testament to see if there are two kinds of gentiles before it ends. The first kind of gentile, we have had from the beginning, and they are the ones that God did not choose when he chose the Hebrews on Mount Sinai of Arabia. We have them examined many times, who these people are and what kind of characteristic they have. The most outstanding characteristic is that they are always in a state of rebellion first against God and then against the family. We examined the three men that God hated from the beginning and what kind of men they were. Canaan, Ishmael, and Esau hated by God from the beginning, and rejected and offered no plan for salvation to be come part of the family of God. We find repeatedly, how they wanted to destroy the children of the righteous family of God in many ways down through time. These three men were the father’s of many family lines that came down through history until today and these heathen gentiles will be with us to the end.

Another source of gentiles comes from the 6 remaining sons of Keturah, the third wife of Abraham. God rejected them because of their mother being a Canaanite. God had rejected all of the Canaanites beginning with Canaan, the first child born after the flood. The only other source that could be gentiles would be the righteous line of Hebrews, and that is exactly where the other line of gentiles originates. This line of gentiles are unique, they started out as a large family when they came out of Egypt, who worshipped Idols, and it is the Hebrew line of people, known as the children of God. The House of Israel got off on the left foot and continued in their idol worship until they were divorce from God, with a bill of Divorcement and being scattered among the heathen gentiles. The time of her punishment was to be 2520 years or 7 times the number of years she worshipped idols, primarily Baal.

Going to the book of Hosea, the first thing we find, that the House of Israel will become known, as not the people of God. They are going to lose their identity as Hebrews while they are in this divorced state of exile. She is going to lose all her feast days and Sabbaths, all those things defining her righteous heritage. During this period of exile, the people will be destroyed for a lack of knowledge concerning the things of God. The children of Israel are going to be many days without a king, and a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and with out teraphim. Following this period of exile, shall the children of Israel return and seek the Lord their God, and David their king.

To the people on the outside of this group, they will not see them as Hebrews for they are going to be scattered among the heathen gentiles around the world. The house of Israel will appear for all appearances as a heathen gentile. They are going to loose the sign of the covenant that God made with Abraham, the symbol, they would no longer cut around the men of the family. For all practical purposes, they will give the appearance of a gentile, but they are not like the heathen gentiles, who have no hope for salvation or redemption.

Now let me assign a name to each of the two groups of gentiles, which we have at the end of the Old Testament.

  1. We find the “heathen gentiles” who have no hope to be saved and restored to the family. They have no promise for a savior to arise to save and redeem them. They are always in a state of rebellion and against God in every way. They do not know God and have no desire to know but to deceive and destroy the plan of God for this world at every opportunity. As Jesus said, “They have no understanding (of the things of God).” There is a sub group to the gentiles and that is the ethnic Jews, which are not Hebrews but are from the tribes of Canaanites surrounding the city of Jerusalem. The Romans will drive them out of the Land of Judah when the temple is destroyed in 70 AD.

  2. We find the House of Israel gentiles or the Israelite gentiles, who have all the appearance of a gentile if examined by the outside world. The house of Israel gentiles are the “righteous gentiles,” who are seeking God and have promises of a redeemer which will restore them to the family. They are to be sensitive to the Spirit of God working in them until the time of punishment has been completed after the 2520 years. These righteous gentiles will be seeking God. One of the promise that God gave to the whole house of Israel, he was going to pour out his Spirit on the House of Israel gentiles and on the house of Judah, her sister, While in this lost condition in the wilderness the Lord promise to speak comfortably unto his divorced wife. Another wards, he was not going to completely forget her and cut her off from himself. In the book of Isaiah in chapter 54, he said, he forsook her for a moment; but with great mercies will I gather thee. If I continued to list the promises to these righteous gentiles, would be to write again the whole text of the Old Testament. In the place that they were scattered they are once again, become known as the people of God. God said he was going to sift the world and not lose one. He was going to send hunters and fishers to find these righteous gentiles and restore them as the righteous people of God. The House of Israel is going to be restored fully.

These promises put to end the rumor that no one knows who they are, because they inter-married among the heathen gentiles while in route to place that God gave David. Where they would have a land of there own and they would not be bothered by their former enemies any longer. In addition, keeping the laws they did not keep before. They had to exist, when Jesus came or he could not come for them. He had promised that he would talk comfortablely to her in the place where they were located.

There is a third group of people living in the land of Judah in the area surround the city of Jerusalem.

Jesus left the Sea Galilee area where he lived as a boy. He was gone so long; he was no longer on the public tax role. We have the account, where the tax collector came to collect a foreigner’s tax from him. While he was gone, he went to the British Isles, where he was educated and was away from the struggle going on in the land of Judea. The Romans were ruling over all the land as the fourth empire that was revealed by Daniel. The Romans did not dominate Judea, as was with other countries. Judea was allowed to have their religious laws of the temple, to be ruled over by the local Judeans or in this case, the Edomites, Idumeans, and the Herodians. These groups were the gentile Jews that ruled in Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. The gentile Jews had been in power for about 135 years.

The gentile Jews were divided into two groups, the Pharisees and Sadducees. They had different interruptions of the Old Testament and concerning the resurrection at the end of time. What was characteristic about the ethnic Jews, they hated Jesus and his cousin John. The very first day of Jesus ministry to his people, the ethnic Jews already began to formulate a conspiracy along with the council and Sanhedrin to do away with Jesus during the three years he was teaching north of Jerusalem. He had to confront these Pharisees and Sadducees for three years, before they had what they needed to have him slaughtered by the Romans soldiers. Included in the ethnic Jews are the Pharisees, Sadducees, elders, scribes, High priest, and members of the council engaging in a conspiracy to kill Jesus even to the use of false witnesses.

Now we have one remaining group, which are not in a gentile group. The one remaining Hebrew family composed of three tribes in and around Jerusalem and the Sea of Galilee. The house of Judah or the Judeans but never the Jews, Most had left the area and their remained only a few to carry out the promise that a redeemer for the House of Israel would to be born in the land of Judah. The House of Judah never carried as their tribal name something, which included the name God, in the Hebrew form of “El,” as did the whole family, with the name of Israelites or as the title of the house of Israel also known as Israelites. Paul in the book of Romans refers to himself as an Israelite of the tribe of Benjamin.

Now we have defined and located all of the players at the time of Jesus, as he was teaching in the land of Judea located by the Sea of Galilee, Lets list the various groups that are going to be in the crowd around Jesus when he was ministering to the people.

  1. The House of Judah known as Judahites or Judeans

  2. The ethnic Jews from the three tribes from which they descended.

  3. The heathen gentiles from through out the land known as Canaanites, which could include Egyptians and Ethiopians, but it also includes all of those from the Middle East from Babylon in the north to Egypt in the south.

  4. The house of Israel or the righteous gentiles known as the ethnee, in the Greek. Later the House of Israel located away from the area would become the ekkleesian, being the ones invited out from among the heathen gentiles of the world, where fishers and hunters would be looking for them along the trade routes of the Great Sea west to the British Isles.

Now, lets start the search for the ethnee in the Greek text and in the English as gentiles to see if we can separate the righteous gentiles from the heathen gentiles, and see what promises each group has to look forward to receiving.

In the Greek text using the Romanized form, the word ethnee is used 54 times in 53 verses. Our first encounter will be in the book of Matthew when Jesus is teaching the people.

In Matthew 6:32 “(for after all these things do the Gentiles {ethnee} seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that you have need of these things.

We know that here it has to be the righteous gentiles of the house of Israel for the heathen gentiles do not seek after the things of God for they are in a state of rebellion at all times with no understanding of the things of God.

Matthew 6:32 “(for after all these things do gentiles {ethnee} seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that you have need of these things. Based upon all the conditions listed earlier it is our only choice for the word gentile, the righteous ones being ethnics.

Matthew 25:32 and before him shall be gathered all the nations {ethnee}: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats.

Here Jesus is talking about separating the righteous gentiles from the goats or the heathen gentiles.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore. And teach all nations {ethnee}, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Here Jesus is dispatching his Judean brethren, who are his learners to go hunting and fishing for the righteous gentiles in the world of heathen gentiles, where they are located, Jesus did not dispatch his learners to the heathen gentile world looking for anyone who would believe. The learners have some type of insight that we do not have as to who the ethnee are. At this point, the ethnee and the ekkleesian are one and the same group. Wherever the learners went with the good message, it was to the ethnee, which are the ekkleesian from among the heathen gentiles.

Mark 13:10 and the gospel must first be published among all Nations {ethnee}.

Luke 12:30 is just a repeat of Matthew 6:32 so we will continue are search for the ethnee, so far in the first three books the translators used the word nations to translate the ethnee word.

Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captives into all nations and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

The English translation does not do the Greek justice, so let me now put it in the interlinear Romanized form and then we can examine to see what gentiles are doing what.

Luke 21:24 and they shall be falling to the sword and shall be led into captivity in to all the nations {ethnee} and Jerusalem shall be trodden under by the nations {ethnoon} until may be fulfilled the seasons of the nations {ethnoon}.

Here we have a mix of two kinds of gentiles depending on which translation that is used. The first nation or gentiles are the ethnee or the righteous gentiles and the second set of gentiles are the heathen gentiles of this world.

Luke 24:47 And that the repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem.

Here again the translators failed to make the grade on this verse so lets examine the Greek Text by the use of the interlinear.

Luke 24:47 and to be proclaimed on the name of him, change your way of thinking and pardon from being without the covenants into all the nations {ethnee} beginning in Jerusalem.

Here again it is the righteous gentiles that we are talking about that get a pardon from being without the covenants, the ethnee are to change their way of thinking beginning from Jerusalem. So far, we have not seen any offers to the heathen gentiles except to trodden down Jerusalem.

The writer of the book of John does not mention the ethnee at all, therefore there is no mention of gentiles or nations, The writer of the book of Acts gets carried away with the use of the word ethnee. We will not examine but just a few of the balance of the 54 for by this time I hope that you are beginning to see that the righteous gentiles are the ones Jesus was talking about and for whom he came and those that he declared he came for, the ethnee, the righteous ones being ethnics.

Acts 11:1 And the apostles and the brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles {ethnee} had also received the word of God.

Here we find, it was the righteous gentiles that received the word, which is what we expected from the promises, made to them in the Old Testament. Just to point out, it was not the heathen gentiles that received the word.

Luke 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles {ethnee} besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

Here again, we see it is the house of Israel gentiles, which are requesting the word, be preached to them on the next Sabbath. The next verse is very long and it is one that the church quotes that Paul and Barnabas are apostles to the gentiles of this world primarily in Africa and the Middle East.

Luke 13:46 .......... Lo, we turn to the gentiles {ethnee}

Here we find again, it is only to the ekkleesian, who are the ethnee located along the trade routes, where are all of the great cities of that time.

Luke 13:48 And when the Gentiles {ethnee} heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord,.....

Luke 14:16 Who, in times past suffered all nations {ethnee} to walk in their own ways.

In the English, it appears that writer is talking about all the nations, who were heathen gentiles, to walk in their own way. It is far from that, as you can see it was the house of Israel, the ethnee, who had to walk in her own way while she was in her divorced condition without the covenants. The next verse is long so we will use only the section that is under consideration.

Act 15:7 .....that the Gentiles {ethnee) by mouth should hear the word of the gospel and faith.

Need I say more, on this verse except to say we have yet to find a heathen gentile?

Act 15:17 .....and all the Gentiles {ethnee), upon whom my name is called,

Act 15:23 .....unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles {ethnoon} in Antioch.....

This verse 23 is not on our list of 54 but it is important to be included for two reasons. It appears that the brethren are of the heathen gentiles and again this is poor workmanship in translation, the translators left out a word that changes everything and does not include the brethren being heathen gentiles. In the interlinear text,

Act 15:23 ....brothers out of the gentiles {ethnoon}

Here the writer is again correct it is the ethnee ekkleesian or it is the righteous gentiles of the house of Israel who are invited out from among the heathen gentiles.

Acts 18:6 , Acts 22:21 .....I will go unto the Gentiles {ethnee}

By now it should be, that you are seeing the pattern that the translators, if they knew they deceived us or they did not know what they were translating and did a lousy job and should have quit or been fired or in that day, their head should have been removed. Moving now into the writings of Paul, to the ekkleesian in Rome.

Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles {ethnee}, which have not the law,.....

Here Paul is talking about the House of Israel during the time of the divorcement, that the ethnee did not have the law for they were outside the law, they do those things contained in the law. He is talking about the righteous gentiles, which are the house of Israel by birth and nativity, doing those things that are in their nature to do, not as the heathen gentile who know not the law or God.

Romans 9:30 what shall we say then? That the Gentiles {ethnee), which followed not after righteousness have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith.

Here again Paul is saying that the house of Israel, who walked as gentile in appearance to all those around them, were the righteous gentiles. Who had been redeemed and by faith, they attained righteousness. Again, no heathen gentiles have attained righteousness. Follow this declaration in chapter 9 where in the English translation the preacher will jump to chapter 10 just across the page and preach to all the gentiles {ethnoon}. Verse 9 “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in the heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Here is one of those places that the church went off course and continues, by telling the same lie to the heathen gentiles, that they can be converted to an ethnee ekkleesian. The heathen gentiles are rejected, and can never cross over to the righteous side, to the Hebrews even if they name the church, which they attend “The House of Judah.”

Romans 15:9 and that the Gentiles {ethnee} might glorify God.......

Here again, it is the house of Israel restored glorifying God because they have been healed by his stripes and idol worship has been removed from them. Get your self an interlinear and examine the 15 chapter of the book of Romans, for how many times that the word gentile is ethnee, and Paul is declaring to them, they are the ekkleesian, whether it be in Rome, Spain, Greece or the British Isles. Time does not permit to continue driving this home, it is the ethnee, the righteous gentiles, that were saved and glorified God, no matter where they were located along the trade routes. It will be the ethnee and ekkleesian which Jesus will be coming for, when he comes to be crowned King of Kings. The church is nowhere to be found. It will be lost in the dust of time. It will be the ethnee, who will be ruling and reigning with him. The house of Judah and the House of Israel will receive the New Covenant not the ethnoon for they will be taken out bound and burned.

I have failed to at this point to speak of the promise of Joel to the whole house of Israel, that it is they that receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the sons and daughters and old men. It is a sign, as to who they are in this world; The Hebrews are the people of God. Heathen Gentiles are nowhere included in a list as part of the family of God, he rejected them in the beginning and it continues until the end.

My concern is, that I do not get this so technical that the reader is unable to understand what I am writing. In addition, to those of you, who are caught up in church dogma, and the writings of the fathers, if you can read the Greek, break away from they have taught you and think for yourself. And to those, who do not know Greek, it is not that hard for there are only 5000 words to learn and you don’t have to learn them in a week. See what you can find by reading what the writers have to say that is not in the English translations, no matter which one you chose, you also can locate all the missing words that changes so much in many verses.

For more details on the stuggle of the ethnee against the ethnoon and the conflict of having the heathen rejected gentile church of the Lord Jesus Christ which is diabolically opposed to the House of Israel.
